He then attended the University of Alabama, Birmingham, AL, where he completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency in 1970. Dr.Mackey completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases in 1971.
Dr. Mackey resides in Cheyenne with his wife Liza. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his four grown children, exercising, hunting, fishing, backpacking, winter sports and reading.
