Shannon L. Cook, FNP

Shannon L. Cook, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner who assists CMS physicians by providing:

Physical Examinations
Diagnosis of routine illness and injuries
Follow-up care for pre-existing conditions
Treatment of minor injuries, including suture care
Patient Education
Preventive health care counseling

Ms. Cook received her nursing degree from the University of Wyoming and began her career as a staff nurse at United Medical Center in Cheyenne, WY, on the telemetry unit and later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit where she provided critical care nursing to a variety of patients.

Ms. Cook returned to school at Regis University and received a master’s degree through the Family Nurse Practitioner’s program. Ms. Cook has a special interest in respiratory and cardiac diseases.

Ms. Cook resides in Cheyenne and enjoys attending University of Wyoming football and basketball games, as well as playing softball, racquetball, tennis, and snow skiing.
