Dr. Reed Shafer

Dr. Reed Shafer is a Board Certified Neurologist, who commonly sees patients for the following problems:

Chronic Back or Neck Pain
Chronic Headaches/Migraines
Numbness or Tingling
Seizure Disorders
Parkinson's Disease and other movement disorders
Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Brain

Dr. Shafer received his medical degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI in 1974.  He performed his Internship in Medicine at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL in 1975, and his Neurological Residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI in 1978.  In 1979, Dr. Shafer completed his Fellowship in Electromyography.

Dr. Shafer is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, is an active member of the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.  Dr. Shafer is also certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.

Dr. Shafer resides in Cheyenne with his wife Nola Jean and their three children. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, canoeing or just tending to his gardens.
